Dear Readers,
You may be wondering what the title is all about, well I will tell you now.. its a title of a The Tremeloes song, a good 1960's pop band! If any of you know them then please comment underneath!
I watched some episodes of Benidorm series 4 earlier ( one of the newer comedies that I actually like).
Still not left the house because of the icy conditions - how has the weather affected you?
I made a nice pasta bake with bubbly Edam cheese on the top for my dinner, nom nom, good food in this weather!

There you are, found you. Hi. I like your bright and breezy blog, you have a friendly writing style, it's a bit like chatting.
ReplyDeleteI love the comedies you mentioned, especially Keeping up Appearances, it's so funny.
I hope you enjoy your visit to the radio station. I sometimes get asked to go into Radio Humberside, as a guest on the morning programme. I get the bus to Hull, it's great fun.
I went to a sixties outdoor concert once at Lincoln. I was at the front singing and dancing along with the bands, and I was dead impressed by two young teenage girls who knew all the words of all the songs. It's nice to know that there are some young people who appreciate the sixties.
Just a quick observation about your header, the words below the title need to be bolder and in a different colour because they cannot be read against the spotlight background. Maybe jiggle it a bit. Good start, keep going it's early days.
Hey, glad you like my style since I'm pretty new to blogging and i'm interested in writing so thought this would be a good start.. glad you also love the same comedies as me, we have things in common then :) thanks, I'm a new starter to radio , I'm in 2nd year of uni, so wanna get better at the radio controls would like to be a radio presenter so hope they offer me some work experience.. ah cool, do you live in Lincoln? i have friends who live in that area.. ok thanks will try to alter the header.. what do you talk about on the radio and are you interested in media? sounds good, thanks for replying, I'm dorit by the way :)
ReplyDeleteWell I haven't met any of The Tremeloes if that's what you meant, or even if it isn't lol. I remember some of their songs though, thought there was one called My Little Lady and I am right; confirmed on Wiki. I also remember "Twist and Shout" and "Do You Love Me" - though I thought that they were by The Beatles lol _ , "Candy Man"; I think, "Silence is Golden", and "Even the Bad Times Are Good".
ReplyDeleteI noticed the header matter as well when I looked earlier.
Nice to meet you Dorit By The Way! Is that really your surname by the way? Lol
No of course thats not my surname lol. Yeah i like My little lady, silence is golden, even the bad times are good and suddenly you love me, good music isn't it? classic is the best in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteIt's better than much of the music made in the last few decades, that for sure lol. XX. It wouldn't be a bad surname though, and cause lead to some jokes lol. xx
ReplyDeleteOf course, that's why i prefer older music, much better and they could play instruments too! Xx
ReplyDeleteHave you listened to Hole In My Shoe by Traffic yet? XXX
ReplyDeleteYep i listened to it once, I see what you mean by psychedelic sound, that's cool, it didn't grab me when i listened to it. XX
ReplyDeleteListen a couple of times a week for a few weeks, if it still doesn't grab you, grab some acid lol. XXX
ReplyDeleteSpoken like a true 1970's dude there :p XX
